Linz, April 23rd, 2012. New EU-initiatives specifically support the further development of cross-national placing of electronic orders as well as the defining of uniform standards. In a project called PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement Online), 11 European countries are developing standardized IT-solutions for save, efficient, transparent and boundless purchasing within Europe.
