Linz, April 23rd, 2012. New EU-initiatives specifically support the further development of cross-national placing of electronic orders as well as the defining of uniform standards. In a project called PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement Online), 11 European countries are developing standardized IT-solutions for save, efficient, transparent and boundless purchasing within Europe. DIG AG, Austrian market leader in the sector of e-business-solutions for e-procurement, e-billing, EDI, becomes a service provider for the European PEPPOL-project.
